This is a fun game that kids can play either on their own with a family member!
What you’ll need:
- sticky notes
- pen/marker
- something soft to throw
How to play:
- Attach as many sticky notes as you want on the back of a door and write different “point values” on each sticky.
- Make a starting line a few feet or more away from the door. Each player will have to stand behind the start line when taking their turn. To make your start line, you could use painter’s tape or you could just put anything down, like a shoe, and each player will know they have to stand behind the shoe when taking their turn.
- Find something soft to use to throw at the sticky notes. You can use a soft ball, bean bag, stuffed animal or rolled up socks. Whatever you can find!
- Start throwing! Each player has 10 throws for every turn. For each number they hit, keep track of the number of points. At the end of each round, add up all their points. The person with the most points is the winner! If you are playing alone, keep trying to beat your previous score! Play as many rounds as you want, as long as you are having fun!
*You can also write letters on the sticky notes and try to spell words by throwing the object at each letter. You could even try to guess what word the other person is trying to spell!
