Jesse Schoaf

I have been working with young people for most of my professional life. Children are our future, and I am dedicated to providing opportunities for growth and empowerment to our youth. I am thrilled to be a part of the Green Room. In addition to my responsibilities at the Early Childhood Program, I work as the Site Coordinator at the Hunnewell Elementary School WCCC After School Program.  I have my master’s degree in English. Prior to working at WCCC, I taught high school English. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, reading, going to concerts, and traveling.

After college , Aasim moved to Boston , where he has worked with children in various settings, as he enjoys teaching valuable life lessons through sports and other activities. When not at WCCC, Aasim enjoys sports writing and running grassroots basketball events.

Andy Rushford

I joined WCCC this year as a teacher at Hunnewell Elementary where I have enjoyed working with the wonderful students in the Kindergarten and First grade classes. New experiences and teaching techniques have added to my knowledge, and I have enjoyed becoming a part of the WCCC community. I am a retired public- school teacher where I taught at Stapleton Elementary School teaching third through fifth grades. I earned my Master of Education from Boston University and my Bachelor of Arts degree from U Mass Boston. My wife Kate and my son Matthew feel fortunate to have lived in Wellesley where we have enjoyed the community and the great schools. I look forward to helping WCCC continue as a leader in quality Early Childhood and after school programs in Wellesley.

Floating Site Coordinators

Stephen Pfaff

I graduated from Wellesley High School in 2016 and UMASS Boston in 2021. I am continuing my education. I have always loved working with kids. There is always so much more to learn and I am very excited to continue my teaching career at WCCC. In teaching, I try my best to make at least one new connection, with a different child, each day. I am incredibly happy that my journey through WCCC came full circle. I have lived in Wellesley my whole life, and as a child I attended both the ECP as well as the ASP. I can still remember how wonderful my teachers were to me, and how lucky I was to have them. With that in mind, I will strive to make a similar lasting impact on each and every child I work with. In my free time I enjoy being with family, watching and playing all kinds of sports. I have bundles of energy so I love being active. I love going to Lake Winnipesaukee–my favorite place in the world, in the summertime. Boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming and fishing are some of my favorite activities.

Hello everyone, thank you for welcoming me to WCCC. I am looking forward to being the floating site coordinator. My experience includes being an athletic director, basketball coach, site coordinator for an after-school program, and master of ceremonies for Bar and Bat Mitzvahs. I love all genres of music, playing basketball, working out, video games, watching movies, traveling, and hanging out with my friends. Thank you for the opportunity to spend time with you.
