An activity I thought my Bates students would love is making animals with old caps from markers. This would be a great way to finally use the marker caps that we find! You start by picking what you want to make – usually a butterfly, bumblebee, or lady bug, but there are other options too. Then you use markers, pipe cleaners, google-y eyes, and glue to make the wings and antennas of the bugs. Finally, you can put the cap on the tip of your finger (like a puppet!), and you have your bug.
