Your children will be able to create their own tic tac toe game to use indoors or outdoors! It is a great way to practice those strategy skills!

Materials Needed:

Go outside and collect some rocks! Find some smooth rocks that are about the size of a golf ball. Various sizes are ok!
Once all of the rocks are collected, it is now time to paint them. Split the rocks into two groups of 5. Each group of rocks will be painted a certain color. (For example: one group can be painted green and the other group can be painted pink.)
Once the paint on the rocks have dried, on one color set paint an “X” on each rock and then on the other set paint an “O” on each rock. This will make your set of X’s and O’s for the game.
After the rocks are dried, it is now time to play some tic tac toe! You can play this outside and create your own tic tac toe board with some chalk. If you choose to play this inside, you can also create a tic tac toe board out of some string or yarn! Get those brains working on strategies to win the game! Don’t forget to have fun!
