Early Childhood Program Staff
Each of our seven early childhood classrooms is staffed by four full-time teachers and, in some rooms, additional part-time teachers. We also have a full-time floating teacher and After School Program teachers who work with us part-time. Wellesley College student assistants work in the classrooms during their academic year.
All of our teachers have obtained Masters, Bachelors, or Associates Degrees, are certified by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care, and are trained in First Aid and CPR. Many of our teachers have been with WCCC for ten, twenty, and even thirty-plus years! Their longevity is a testament to their dedication to the work we do and to the quality of care we provide. Parents and children alike benefit from the depth of their experience, educational backgrounds, continuing desire to learn about child development, communication skills, and – most importantly – their kindness, understanding, and consideration towards children.

After School Program Staff
Each of our six after school sites is run by a Site Coordinator and, depending on enrollment, two to four additional teachers. The After School Program Director supervises staff, helps with programming, and gets to know the children and families at every site.
As with the Early Childhood Program staff, many of the After School Program teachers have been with WCCC for an impressive amount of time. They are passionate about providing children with a safe, supportive environment in which to play, learn, and grow. They bring their individual experiences, talents, and interests to curriculum planning, ensuring that the programs we provide are diverse and enriching.
