As we begin the week of art, we have fun doing art activities with your child. When children explore and create freely, they can make very unique works of art. Encourage your child to explore and imagine as he or she engages in open-ended art experiences that focus not on finished products, but on the process of creating. Children can repeat the same project many times and will create different end products each time!
Since the days are getting warmer, it might be a good idea to use something cool to make works of art. Here are a couple of ideas for Tuesday.
Ice Cube Painting
Painted Salt Sculpture
Yes, it takes a long time to dry but at least you don’t have to do anything but wait! We hope you enjoy doing art with your child for the next two weeks!
